Bio
Arian did his undergrad at Washington University in St. Louis, where he worked with Kater Murch on weak measurements of superconducting circuits. After undergrad, he spent a year as a SULI intern working on neutrino detection at Brookhaven National Lab and CMB polarization detection at Lawerence Berkeley National Lab. He then completed his PhD at Caltech under Nick Hutzler, where he built up experiments to search for fundamental symmetry violation with polyatomic molecules. He is now an NSF MPS Ascend Fellow working on the RaX experiment.
Arian is passionate about science outreach and blowing kids’ minds. He likes science fiction, soccer, weird molecular structure, and the intersection of art and physics.
