Hi all! My name is Giseok. I grew up in Korea and finished both my undergrad and master’s at Korea University (super easy to remember, right?). During my master’s, I worked with Eunmi Chae on building the second repump laser system for laser cooling and slowing of MgF molecules. I joined the Doyle group on the CaOH experiment in 2024.
When I am not around the lab, you will find me lifting weights in the Hemenway gym, listening to rock music, playing guitar, enjoying coffee, or drinking beer.
